Well ok, so I got some more old ones to put up,lol. This was another I used the 50mm reversed on the fixed lens. This one I know the focus isnt on the eyes, I was trying to focus on the tongue. Just thought was really cool to catch a bee as it was feeding.

This is just wow!!! LOL... really good shot!

Was this a handheld shot or tripod? and at risk of seeming like Im blowing sunshine at you, you have definately got some of the best insect shots on the site.

Wow,thank you. Handheld, lol. I know, most of mine are. I find its to tough to use a tripod. I did at first try,but then i would have to lean the tripod in. I also go from flower to flower, and hunt for them. My old camera allowed me a bit more freedom, having a digital zoom as well as a live view,so didnt have my eye up to it. Remind me sometime and I will show you where I have some of my other photos, when I was putting up tons, lol. Got known for all my insect photos. Just like taking the photos of them.=D

Oh bees are just so cool, lol. Thank you. =D
:iconjagerofdarkness:
Not if you step on an underground beehive and get stung too many times to count ;) But they are kiiinda cool B-)

Wow,well only been stung by yellowjackets like that. Never saw any bees be underground.
:iconjagerofdarkness:
I'm not sure if they were actually 'bees', but I'm a bit prejudiced and just call them all bees sometimes ;) This was ages ago, so I don't remember it, but have heard about it several times by my parents. I think I'd be way too freaked out to get as close as you probably do for those shots.

Oh, well they were most likely yellow jackets, got some pics of them. They live in the ground, and if you bump the ground near them to much they swarm. If you want to see close, go look at some of my other ones, I have a tiny bee that im really close too, lol.
